Prepping
- Items should be clean and in good condition. Having batteries in toys that require them will help the item sell since the shopper can ensure it is in working order.
- All clothes must be on hangers with the hook facing left like a “?”
- Pants, shorts, etc. should be safety pinned to hangers as well
- Clothing should be of retail quality, clean and free from tears, stains, holes, etc.
- Pin clothing sets securely together on one hanger
- Put small items together in a ziplock bag
- Attach shoes securely together (zip ties work great)
Pricing and Taging
- Tags must be printed on white card stock in order for the barcodes to work. DO NOT use dark colored cardstock.
- Price items in $1.00 increments, starting at 25% below retail and adjust for wear and style. Big ticket items such as cribs, Little Tikes, etc. can sometimes sell for 50% off retail if in good condition.

- We encourage our consignors to check “yes” for discount on their barcoded tag so the items has a chance to be sold at our half off sale on Sundays.
- Printing tags can be done at any time. You can print in intervals or all at once, My Consignment Manager will tell you which tags have already been printed. If you do not have a printer, Office Depot can print them for you for a small fee per page.
- Once your tags are printed, make sure the barcodes are readable with no smudges.
- Attach your tags to the right side of the garment in a seam. DO NOT PUT A HOLE IN THE ITEM where it can be seen. We highly suggest using a tagging gun to attach your tags. However, you may also use safety pins. Either way tag in a spot that will not leave a hole in the item.
